Committee


All activities of Siddiq Akbar Foundation is conducted as per instruction as laid down in the Memorandum of Association and Article of Association. The Foundation is run by 32 member Management Committee(Board) who are elected every two years by the genral members

The Committee consists of :

Present Management Committee for the year 2015-2017 is led by it’s Chairman Kamrul Munir Khan who is young successful businessman,vibrant and real enthuciasts in the welafer of humanity with real approach to the tenets of Islam. He is involved in multiferious business like Travel n Tour, Export/Import and also actively connected with Socio-cultural entities like Art of Living,International values,Professor Akter Imam Foundation and Lions Club etc.

Other memebrs of the management Board exp[ereinced Banker, Lawyers of Supreme Court, Media Personalities, Government and Private Sectors high ranking officials.

In Corporation With Social Welfare

The foundation is registered with Directoriate of Social Welfare,Government of Bangladesh having registration # D-91967 dt. 19-11-86. Donation given to the foundation is Incom Tax Free (NBR notificatio no.9(47)-Taxes-8/85-744 dt. 23-12-85.

The bi-yearly elected manamgement board conducts and monitors all the activities of the foundation through project committes/sub-committes as an when formed. The board reviews overall activities during board meeting held every two months.


The expenses of different project are made through different Bank accounts maintained against each project. The financial transaction are regularly internally audited by the treasurer(who is an experinced Banker) and finally being audited on yeraly basis by reputed Chartered Accountant Firms. The Audited accounbts are placed placed before the bi-annual general meeting of the foundation for perusal and approval.
